Cooper Carey Inc. of Atlanta is the architect and W.D.G. of Dallas is the interior designer. The hotel and convention center are part of a $200-million, mixed-use town square project that's now under construction.
Crestline, the facility's operator, also owns a majority interest in the property. The other owners are Atlanta-based Stormont Hospitality Group LLC and the Sugar Land Town Square Development Authority.

Crestline manages and leases 36 hotels under the Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, Renaissance and Six Continents brands in 12 states and the District of Columbia.
