"After an extensive multi-state search, Comcast selected Prince William County for multiple reasons," Comcast Washington Metro/Virginia regional vice president Jaye Gamble said in a statement at the opening ceremony. "We were most impressed with the commitment from the county and the state to this project. The commitment to reduce costs and provide rapid review and approval of the tenant-improvement plans reflects the county's favorable business environment."
The Virginia Department of Business Assistance is on board to provide workforce training services for the new employees.
