In writing the check, All Star Specialists got more space for its business and a long-term tenant in Decorative Ironworks. The buyer will occupy about 11,000 sf in the 35-year-old office/warehouse building. All Star is relocating from a leased site along Loop 12.

Jim Turano of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial says the McMillin Family LP asset was on the market six months. There were several lookers, he tells GlobeSt.com, but All Star Specialists "took the initiative and had the financing in place." John Gardner of the Ian Russell Co. in Dallas represented the buyer.

Turano also is hawking a 15,500-sf neighbor on about an acre at 3424 Dilido for the family. The asking price is $425,000. Both structures once housed the McMillin sheet metal fabrication business. With the business now defunct, the owner's widow is selling the real estate.
