According to Silbert Realty president Brian Silbert, ESA plans to open a 107-unit hotel on the site, marking its 13th property in the Garden State. The site is located within the 242-acre ITC Crossing, an 800,000-sf retail power center anchored by such tenants as WalMart, Sam's Club and Lowe's Home Improvements. ITC Crossing itself is a project of the AIG Baker Cos. of Birmingham, AL.
Both the retail complex and the proposed hotel are located off I-80, opposite the International Trade Center in this Northern New Jersey township. The ITC is a sprawling business park that encompasses a federally designated foreign-trade zone.
