The 150,000 sf of the front plaza will undergo a complete facelift allowing for separate new lobbies for both Harper University and Hutzel Women's Hospitals. Hutzel patients will also have specially designated elevators to their floors.

The new facility area was designed by Gunn Levine Associates, and built by Turner Construction and White Construction.
