Peter Klees with Grubb and Ellis told GlobeSt.com that the firms, which leased the recently renovated space within two days of each other, will join several other smaller tenants at the 2452 W Birchwood Ave. building.
Cheap Seats Furniture will take up 5,600 sf of the building for three years while Interior Design Resources has signed a two year lease on 5,400 sf. The warehouse areas occupied by both new businesses had been vacant between three and five months, Klees said.
Cheap Seats Furniture will use the space as an overflow warehouse for its existing furniture store in Mesa. Interior Design Resources will open its first warehouse at the site.
Located near Broadway and Price roads, the property is owned by RREEF Real Estate Investment Managers. Rents at the center, which still has about 14,000 sf available, average 66 cents per sf per month gross, Klees said.
