Judwin Properties of Houston is moving from 5 E. Greenway Plaza to 2,200 sf in a 89,551-sf office building at nearby 3120 Southwest Freeway. The 31-year-old building currently is 83% occupied. The quoted rate is $16 per sf.
Stan Stratton of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Houston office represented the management firm in the negotiations with building owner, Unilev Management. Steve Rocher and Kristen Porter, both of the Houston office of Grubb & Ellis Co., hold the Unilev leasing assignment.
Attorney Allen C. Isbel lined up 1,731 sf in what is perhaps the CBD's most quaint office property at 202 Travis St., a 17,101-sf historic office property. Spire Realty owns the 87%-occupied building, which also fetches $16 per sf. Porter was the lone broker for the deal. The CBD's 202 Travis, built in 1884, originally served as the Houston Cotton Exchange and Board of Trade Building.
