The plan is to deliver a two-story bank, totaling 24,000 sf, in spring 2003. The project site abuts an 80,000-sf Kohl's built last year in the center, situated at the intersection of Interstate 45 and College Park Drive.
Roger D. Lawrence, bank president and CEO, and John Lewis of the Advantage Co. handled talks for the bank. Greg Jordan, director of retail sales and leasing for the Woodlands Operating Co. LP represented the seller's interests.
The 90-acre shopping center, which opened in fall 2001, is now 89% occupied. The bank will join a line-up that includes Chuck-E-Cheese, La-Z-Boy Furniture, Wal-Mart and Garden Ridge Pottery.
