The company views the Americas and capital markets groups as areas for growth in 2003.

Peacock in a statement. "Likewise, Peter's demonstrated leadership experience, combined with his financial and strategic expertise and his extensive background in both tenant representation and capital markets, uniquely equip him to guide the Americas business into the future."

Roberts was named to the company's board of directors last year.
