The scheme includes a new 22,000-sf Sainsbury's food store; 338 apartments including 106 affordable housing units; 400 public car parking spaces and the replacement of existing community uses. Nicholson Estates director Terry Prescott said: "The East Street area has enormous potential for a successful, mixed-use urban redevelopment. Our scheme creates a natural extension to Farnham town centre and provides an attractive and vibrant environment."
DTZ Debenham Tie Leung advised Nicholson Estates and Sainsbury's Property Company while Cluttons advised Waverley Borough Council. The scheme was designed by Scott Brownrigg & Turner.
