Michael Timmins, with RMB Business Enterprises LLC, tells GlobeSt.com that the five locations will complement three other Seattle's Best Coffee shops that recently opened in Mesa, Gilbert and Phoenix.

"We've developed a passion for this brand and this type of business," said Timmins. "We have a great product that lends itself to a great atmosphere."

The locations for the five new stores, all between 1,000 sf and 1,900 sf will be Phelps Dodge Tower at Washington Street and Central Avenue in downtown Phoenix; Shea Boulevard and 83rd Street in Scottsdale; Pecos and McQueen roads in Chandler; Bell Road near 73rd Avenue in Peoria; and adjacent to US Highway 51 in Phoenix.

Timmons said the Peoria, Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix stores will open by mid-December with the remainder slated to open by the end of January. In recent weeks, stores opened at 48th and Warner Road in Phoenix; Gilbert and Guadalupe in Gilbert; and Dobson and Baseline in Mesa.

Designed by DRS Architects and Planners of Austin, TX and built by Westpac Construction Inc. of Phoenix, each location is designed to be a comfortable setting with over-stuffed chairs, coffee tables, power access for laptops and outdoor seating. Each store will offer the usual coffee shop fare, including the company's signature specialty drip coffee.
