Legg Mason Real Estate Services/Spectrum Financial arranged the $5.3 million loan. According to Legg Mason executives Stanley J. Sidel and Joseph J. Hegenbart, the mortgage financing was arranged with a leading regional thrift institution.
The 95,000-sf Champion headquarters building is located on a 24-acre parcel and consists of 30,000 sf of office space. The remaining area is used as design, production, and warehouse space. The Campanelli Business Park is a 220-acre industrial/office park developed by the Campanelli Companies. Among its tenants are Christmas Tree Shops, Sager Electronics, Plymouth Savings Bank, NES Clothing Company, Serta Mattress, and Butler Automation. The Park is located on Route 18 near the Middleborough Circle and Route 495.
