Arthur de Haast has over 20 years experience in the hotel industry and his clients include including Hilton Group, Six Continents, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International and Strategic Hotel Capital. Barge will become Global Chairman for Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels as well as taking over as CEO, Asia Pacific, for Jones Lang LaSalle
And Nick Marsh, currently Executive Vice President of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels Europe, will take over from de Haast as European CEO. Marsh has headed Jones Lang LaSalle's Hotel Capital Markets team in Europe since 1999, overseeing more than $1.5bn in hotel transactions during that time.
As he stepped down, Barge said: "The Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels European team has established itself as the market leader in the region, with Arthur at the helm as CEO of Europe. Arthur's skills and expertise will be of tremendous benefit to the global team."
