The company, an independent energy research and advisory firm, is relocating from 20 University Rd. in Harvard Square. It says it will move to its new location this coming March.
55 Cambridge, a nine-story, 276,000-sf office building, is located on the Charles River near MIT within the technology rich East Cambridge/Kendall Square business community. Among the other tenants in the building are Lotus Development, Clark Hunt & Embry, and Genzyme Corp., which recently took 61,000 sf of space. Flaherty, who also represented Cabot Cabot & Forbes in the Genzyme transaction, said at the time that Meredith & Grew had a number of leases pending for space in the building, which when including this deal, will nearly lease up the property.
