The project, to be called Queen Elizabeth Park, includes 42,500 sf of offices; a 25,500-sf Esporta health and fitness club; an 11,200-sf Budgens foodstore and a 6,500-sf nursery which has been pre-sold to Academy Nursery. There will also be a 3,000-sf restaurant.
The offices will be built in 26 'front-door' units which will range from 1,200 to 2,500 sf and will be sold freehold. A first phase of 18,500 sf in 12 units will be built speculatively with work starting early in 2003. Nigel Wakefield, Development Executive at Terrace Hill said: "This is our first project of this kind and it has got off to a flying start with the Esporta, Budgens and Academy deals underwriting the office element."
Gascoignes and Hurst Warne are advising Terrace Hill on the offices, FPDSavills on the leisure element and Romans Commercial introduced the site.
