One Brokerage Leaves Scarbrough, Another Enters

AUSTIN-TD Waterhouse snaps up the highly visible Scarbrough Building space at Sixth and Congress streets vacated by Charles Schwab & Co. The latter moves to 100 Congress, where it will occupy 5,800 sf.

Tim Jarvis and Casey Beasley of Austin-based Jarvis Beasley represented the Scarbrough building's owner, Merit Properties of Texas. Amy Heritage of the Austin office of Yancey-Hausman acted for TD Waterhouse.

TD Waterhouse will make the move into the Scarbrough space in the first quarter of 2003. It leaves Austin Centre, 701 Brazos Street, also in the CBD.

The 130,000-sf Scarbrough building was erected in 1910.
