Lee Segal of The Klabin Co.'s Torrance office says the company expects to move into its new building on Dec. 1. The facility is on more than three acres in the South Center Industrial Park at 1010 Sanhill Ave. inCarson.
Segal represented Palos Verdes Footwear. PAP Investments Co. of PalosVerdes was the seller.
Palos Verdes Footwear was established in 1994 and will be consolidating in the new building from facilities in Carson and Gardena with about 35,000 sf combined.
Approximately 50 workers will be employed at its new site.The new facility for Palos Verdes Footwear is a concrete tilt-up structure featuring 20,000 sf of office space, high warehouse ceiling clearance, and ample on-site parking.
Segal noted that the company purchased the building with a 15% down payment through a loan provided by the Small Business Administration, in cooperation with Wells Fargo Bank. Its mortgage payments will be less than the rent for comparable space, he says.
