EGL will use the space to relocate and consolidate its offices. The company will be moving out of its East Boston and Everett locations.
The three-story, 400,000-sf office and warehouse facility is located on the Boston waterfront, near Logan International Airport. With this deal, the building's warehouse space is fully leased, although 47,000 sf of office space remains vacant. The office space is located on the second and third floors of the building. Among the building's other tenants are Hankyu International, Kuehne & Nagel and Wall USA.
J.P. Plunkett, senior director at Cushman & Wakefield represented Highland Park, IL-based International Airport Centers, the property owner, in the transaction. EGL was self-represented.
