MEC Inc. looked at five sites before settling on 1000 Post &Paddock Rd. in Grand Prairie, Eric Gilbert of Grubb & EllisCo.'s Dallas office tells GlobeSt.com. The 36-month lease for 4,875sf came with an expansion option at the 77,448-sf flex property.The decision maker was the fact that less than 5,000 sf could behad as a starting point. "They didn't want to over-extendthemselves," he says. The firm sells clothing, equipment andsupplies to large corporations.

Gilbert represented the tenant, who surveyed the market fornearly three months. The firm has just exited 1,500 sf inRichardson for the Grand Prairie location. Theron Bryant of SCMReal Estate Services in Arlington brokered the deal for thebuilding owner, GT Post & Paddock Ltd. of Fort Worth.

In Carrollton's section of Valwood Industrial Park, Accu-TechCorp. signed a three-year lease, valued at $139,989 over the term,for 12,590 sf at 2110 Hutton Dr. The signing takes the 59,528-sfwarehouse to full.
