Tile Outlet, a local chain, signed for 11,790 sf at the Hunting Bayou Center in East Houston. The 250,000-sf center at 11410 I-10 East is owned by Houston's NewQuest Properties.

Bob Conwell of NewQuest Properties negotiated for tenant and building owner. The outlet store will join a roster that includes Tinseltown Cinemark Theater, 24 Hour Fitness, Discount Tire and Chili's Restaurant. The center's five-mile trade area has a population of 170,648 and annual average household income of $41,127.

Dollar General took 7,500 sf at the Champions Point Center at 12027 Bammel N. Houston in the city's northwest quadrant. NewQuest Properties also owns the center, totaling more than 19,000 sf. Conwell handled talks for NewQuest while Debbie Scott of the Commercial Group in Houston represented Dollar General.
