MacManus is the previous senior vice president and managing director of intermediate finance and agency lending groups. The proprietary lending group, which he now heads, includes agency lending, construction lending, golf course finance, healthcare, hospitality and intermediate finance.
MacManus joined GMAC in 1997. Before that he held several positions with Midlantic Bank prior to its acquisition by Pittsburgh, PA-based PNC Bank. His responsibilities at Midlantic included mortgage banking finance, conduit organizations, construction and permanent lending.
The GMAC commercial lending portfolio approaches $160 billion and includes permanent, interim, mezzanine and construction lending as well as equity capital for commercial real estate.
