Coy D. Davidson and Robert S. Parsley, both with the Houston offices of Colliers International, represented the tenant in the long-term lease talks. Dena Wren of CB Richard Ellis Inc. in Houston bargained the terms for the building owner, CCI-16055 Ltd. or Texas-based Capital Commercial Investments Inc.
Davidson tells GlobeSt.com that the firm will be moving into the Boeing Building in a couple of weeks. It is relocating from 3741 Red Bluff Rd. in Pasadena. The inbound tenant specializes in the transportation of bulk goods, liquids and silo products and in particular chemicals, foodstuffs and liquid gases.
The 147,765-sf, 16-year-old Boeing Building is one of only six buildings in a class A inventory of 961,655 sf in Clear Lake. Competition in Clear Lake for class A space can often be tight as is evidenced by the building's 93% occupancy rate. Total occupancy for class A buildings in Clear Lake generally remains in the high 90%s.
