DETROIT-Champion Homes used four buildings on 87 acres as a modular home manufacturing plant but sells to Universal Forest Products of Grand Rapids. Two economic development corporations assist Binswanger Inc. brokers.

The marketing and sale was a team effort of Craig Mercier of L. Mason Capitani, Inc. and Caleb Fox of Binswanger Inc.

Both the St. Joseph County Economic Development Corp. and the Michigan Economic Development Corp. assisted the brokers and buyer in the transaction. A purchase price was not disclosed.

Meanwhile, a strip center is for sale for $1.6 million in Westland, MI.

Marcus and Millichap is the marketing agent. The 11,770-sf center has three tenants: Blinds to Go, GameStop Corp. and the Men's Warehouse.
