Watson says Bristol and APL will employ 200 workers at the site, which is at 915 E. 230th St. APL Logistics will act as third-party distribution manager for Bristol Farms, a Southern California gourmet and specialty foods retailer that will relocate its headquarters to the Carson location next year. The new facility will include more than 11,000 sf of corporate offices.
Kevin Davis, president of Bristol Farms, says the move will enable the retailer to house its supply chain management and corporate headquarters in one building.
APL Logistics is a worldwide logistics and technology management company that is a unit of APL Ltd., which has offices in more than 80 countries.
Bristol Farms, founded in 1982, has grown to more than 1,700 employees and ranks among the top 100 private companies in Los Angeles County.
John McMillan and Bret Quinlan of Cushman & Wakefield represented APL Logistics. Watson Land was represented in-house by Kirk Johnson and Lance Ryan.
