The units, including studios, one- and two-bedroom layouts, will be configured in two five-story buildings built around a landscaped courtyard. Public spaces will include an on-site health club and a community room, according to Dean S. Geibel, president of the locally-based Metro Homes. The complex is being designed by Dean Marchetto Architects, a locally-based firm, and will be marketed by Dan Voehringer of ReMax Gold Coast in Hoboken.

Founded four years ago, Metro Homes has completed a number of residential condo projects here and in neighboring Jersey City. To date, and including The Huntington, those projects total about 300 units. The firm also recently acquired the last piece of the former Colgate industrial site, where it will propose to build still another condo complex.
