WCR Properties of Humble sold the land, which is adjacent to Robbins Chevrolet and Robbins Nissan. The asking price for the dealers' row land along Memorial Drive was $1.8 million. The Harris County Appraisal District pegged the property's 2002 assessment at $895,100.
Heckeroth, who owns a Performance SAAB at 10505 Southwest Freeway, tells GlobeSt.com that ground will break in two weeks, with delivery planned for summer 2003. He says the entire tract will be built out. The plan is to construct a 25,000-sf office/showroom and use the balance of the tract for parking lots and display.
