Mark Preston, former vice president/debt capital markets at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Capital Markets, is the firm's newest investment officer/credit. Shak Presswala, who also worked at SunTrust Robinson, is a credit analyst. Ginger Griffith moves up to investment officer/closing level from her former duties as director of REIT accounting.

Preston has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Tulane University and an MBA from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane. He will evaluate the creditworthiness of potential tenants in real estate acquisitions and will also structure leasing deals.

Presswala, also a former SunTrust Robinson professional, will underwrite and pre-screen tenants in potential acquisitions. He is a Vanderbilt University graduate with a major in economics and a minor in finance.

Griffith joined Wells in July 2001 as director of accounting and was named director of REIT accounting in March 2002. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Richmond with a major in accounting.
