The lease is for a portion of an approximately 400,000-sf building that also houses California Microwave.
LaBarge provides sophisticated electronics to technology-driven companies in industrial markets. The company specializes in both contract electronics manufacturing services and wireless data communications products and network services.
Gary Mabray of Colliers International's Houston office represented LaBarge in the lease negotiations. Mabray tells GlobeSt.com LaBarge will be relocating from University Business Park at the Gulf Freeway and Telephone Road in Houston approximately 20 miles northeast of the Stafford warehouse. Mabray says the new location puts his clients closer to suppliers and clients. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The building owner, CalWest Properties LP, was represented by Jim Nelson of Dienna Nelson Augustine of Houston.
