Alliance is using the facility for corporate offices, sales and printing operations. David Carter with Houston's Yancey-Hausman represented Alliance Printing and Donald E. Dennis, president of Houston's Archway Properties was the in-house representative for the building owner in the lease.
National Oilwell sold the asset after two years to Archway Properties, which closed a deal for the building and two acres. The holding originally was marketed with 3 1/2 acres for $1.6 million. Jon Farris of the Staubach Co.'s Houston office represented National Oilwell in the trade while Carter handled talks for Archway.
Carter estimates the property was on the market for six to eight months before it sold. Archway put about $100,000 into renovations, he said.
