The site, which is known as Alpha Park, is located at the junction of the A1 and A428 St Neots to Cambridge Road. It has outline planning consent for 320,000 sf of business and warehousing space. The site was sold by retail giant Tesco which had been trying to obtain a retail planning consent. The developers plan to provide units on a freehold or leasehold basis from 10,000 sf upwards.
Nick Harris, director in charge of industrial development at Miller Developments, said: "There is a shortage of good quality sites in Cambridgeshire and given Alpha Park's good road links and accessible local labour force, I am confident it will become one of the region's leading business parks."
King Sturge advised Tesco and has been retained as letting agent with Barker Storey Matthews.
