In November, the occupancy rate was 45.4%, compared with 46.1% in November 2001. The average room rate fell to $79.84 from $82.61.
As usual, the highest room rates were in Aspen. In November, the average room rate in Aspen was $144.81 and the occupancy rate was 35.3%. In Vail, the average room rate was $10.55 and the occupancy rate was 28.4%.
