Jerald has also tapped the Lakewood, NJ-based Paramount Realty Services Inc. to exclusively lease the retail component, according to Paramount's Maurice Zekaria. The retail portion of the project is being designed with a "Main Street" feel, according to company officials, including village greens, landscaped courtyards, fountains, gazebos and other design amenities along the lines of the well-known Palmer Square in Princeton, NJ. The property's tenant mix will focus on a mix of national specialty retailers and restaurants, along with local boutique stores.
The residential component will be in two parts, including rental apartments on top of the retail component "to create a downtown feel," according to development officials. The second part of the residential portion of the project will be a group of luxury townhomes. No details of the office portion of the project have been released.
For its part, Paramount Realty Services is a real estate company specializing in leasing, management and investment sales. The company's investment division recently purchased the Marlton Specialty Center, a lifestyle center in the South Jersey community of Marlton. The asset's tenant roster includes Pottery Barn, The Gap, Starbucks, Victoria's Secret, The Sharper Image, Chico's, Trader Joe's and Williams-Sonoma.
