Renee Hollinger, a company spokesperson, tells GlobeSt.com that the King of Prussia, PA-based company is in the process of identifying "underperforming" stores. "We are reviewing all of our stores to decide which ones to close." She insists that the company has not made any final store closings decisions yet, but a store representative from FAO Schwarz here tells GlobeSt.com that the entire contents of the store is for sale "until we close."

The company has recently encountered financial difficulties and announced last month that it would be closing 70 stores across the country. The company was also forced to negotiate with its bank to hold off its creditors until the middle of this month.
