The 126,500-sf office building was refurbished by Morley Fund Management on behalf of Norwich Union Life and Pensions last year and let upon practical completion to insurer Ace Global Markets. The starting rent was £6.25 million ($10 million) per annum on a lease expiring in 2018.

Andrew Peacock from Morley, said: "This sale represents the culmination of a five-year project in which we bought the freehold from The Crown Estate and extensively redesigned and refurbished the offices to the exacting standards now required by occupiers and investors in the City. The letting and sale bear this out".

DTZ advised the vendor. King Sturge represented CGI.
