Endurance Reinsurance Corp's lease totals 21,625 sf and its new offices will be used for its New York headquarters. The company will begin a phased move-in of approximately 80 employees starting this month, according to officials with Cohen Brothers Realty Corp., the owner of the four-building complex that has more than 460,000 sf of contiguous space. William Korchak of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the reinsurance firm in the transaction. Endurance Reinsurance Corp. is currently working out of temporary space at 520 White Plains Rd. in Tarrytown N.Y.

Other lease deals at the property included a sublease transaction for 20,000 sf with marketing company Merit Direct. The company, which signed a sublease deal with Allied Irish Bank, is relocating its headquarters from Stamford, CT. Approximately 75 people will be involved in the move to White Plains. Gerry Lees and Terry Brown of Cushman & Wakefield represented Merit Direct in the transaction while Allied Irish Bank was represented by Patrick Gardner and Richard Sykes.

In another lease at the property, Stone, Russo & Lassaro, LLP, a certified public accounting firm, has secured 2,500 sf and will begin moving into 333 Westchester Ave. sometime this month, Cohen Brothers officials say.

Colliers ABR Vice Chairman Stephen J. Riker, Managing Director Michael Norris and Associate Michelle DeBerry represented Cohen Brothers Realty in all of the transactions. Colliers ABR is the exclusive leasing agent for the property,

"There's tremendous interest right now in 333 Westchester Ave. from many companies, which like Endurance Reinsurance Corporation of America, see this unique corporate center as an ideal site for their New York State headquarters," Riker says. "We hope to announce more deals in the very near future."

Tenants already housed at 333 Westchester Avenue include Allied Irish Banks; Moviefone, an America Online company; MACSTEEL ASOMA, a steel trading company; Fredman & Rosan, a law firm and Rosenfeld & Tortu, a benefits consulting firm.
