Behrens is now heading a new commercial office for RE/MAX Alliance, the largest RE/MAX franchise in the state and the third largest in the US.
Behrens, president-elect of the Certified Commercial Investment Member, currently has eight commercial brokers. He inherits four with the new office with four hired from other firms, including Grubb & Ellis. He would like to grow the office to 25 brokers, making it a mid-sized office, but not as large as CB Richard Ellis, Cushman & Wakefield, Grubb & Ellis, Frederick Ross Co., or Fuller and Co. in Denver.
Behrens tells GlobeSt.com he thinks the RE/MAX concept will be attractive to "lone wolf" commercial brokers on their own.
