Joining the firm's Denver division are Ian Stevenson, director of interiors; Kevin Kreymborg, senior project manager; Mitch Felker, superintendent; Stephen Love, superintendent; and Melissa Laymon, project engineer.

"The addition of these individuals significantly increases the capacity of interior construction projects Swinerton can perform in Colorado," says David White, SVP.

In his new position, Stevenson is responsible for client development and retention, operations. He previously served as managing director for the Denver office of an international commercial construction company.

Kreymborg brings more than 20 years of experience in design and project management and administration. A Denver native, Kreymborg has spent his entire professional career in Colorado's architectural/engineering/construction community.

Felker has worked in the construction industry for 25 years, progressing from carpenter apprentice to foreman to his current responsibilities as a superintendent.

Love also has advanced in his construction career, entering the work force as an apprentice and progressing from drywall framer to foreman to superintendent.

Laymon has provided project management support and Computer Automated Design work for a variety of engineering and construction firms.

Recent or current projects include: the build-out of Newmont Mining's 73,700-sf headquarters at 1700 Lincoln St; the recently completed demolition of the dining and kitchen facilities at Libby Hall on the University of Colorado-Boulder campus, where construction will start in May; and the 27,430-sf office interior renovation for CNA Insurance in the ParkRidge Corporate Center in Littleton.

Swinerton Builders ranked 17th on Engineering News Record's list of America's Top General Contractors. Founded in 1888, Swinerton has been building along Colorado's Front Range since 1942. The employee-owned firm posted sales of $1.4 billion in 2002.
