In the transaction, New World was represented by Bob Sklow, managing director; Mitchell Katz, vice president; and Leslie Meril, senior associate of TCC of New Jersey, Florham Park, along with bob Anderson of TCC's Washington, DC office. Bryn Cinque of GVA Williams of NJ, Parsippany, represented sublessor PSE&G Energy Technologies.
TCC has also gotten the exclusive sublease assignment for New World's former East Coast production facility in Eatontown, NJ. The 91,130-sf facility's operations have been consolidated to an existing plant in Whittier, CA. Of the total space, 22,000 sf is built out as offices, 23,000 sf as production space and the rest a combined warehouse/production area and a test kitchen.
New World Restaurant Group operates the Manhattan Bagel, Einstein Bros.' Bagels, Noah's New York Bagels and New World Coffee eatery chains.
