In his 25-year career to date, Berg has overseen the construction of a total 6.2 million sf and a 570-acre mixed-use business park; built residential lots valued at a total $16 million; and completed Beaumont Business Center, a 250,000-sf office park which won a NAIOP award for the Best Office Project in Tampa Bay.

Berg has focused on development, construction and facilities management. Among his clients are Eli Lilly, PetsMart, United States Postal Service and Kraft General Foods. In a prepared statement, Paul Thomann, vice president, Advantis construction, says Berg's extensive experience will be "an asset to Advantis as we continue our pursuit in providing a high level of service to our internal customers as well as developing new customers."

Berg graduated from the University of Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee College of Law. He holds a Certified Property Manager designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management and is also a CCIM board member.

In a separate move, Advantis won an exclusive leasing and management contract in Orlando from Oakridge Financial Associates LLP and Royal Oaks LP, new owners of the 315,000-sf, five-building Oakridge Office Park in the Orlando Central Park submarket in south Orlando. Advantis brokers Heidi Adamas, Jeff McFadden and Beverly McNeil will handle the property.
