The move will be effective mid-February 2003.
The new location will allow SunCorp to bring together its 70 Denver-area employees and item-processing activities into one central facility, currently spread out among three separate locations. The organization's ability to perform item processing in a central location is expected to increase turnaround times for member transactions and requests.
"This consolidation will greatly improve our intra-company communication and efficiencies by having all departments and personnel together in one common location," says Eric Kenealy, SunCorp president and CEO. "Information-sharing between groups will become quicker and more effective, which in turn will allow us to better serve our members."
SunCorp will initially occupy 30,000 sf of the new office space located at 11080 CirclePoint Road, just off U.S. 36. The space will include seminar rooms equipped with the latest in audio-visual technology for more productive on-site training of employees and members.
"We've enjoyed great success this year, and we anticipate continued strong growth in the coming year," Kenealy says. "Our new facility has been designed to accommodate the resources the company needs to meet its current growth projections. This will also enable us to continue to attract talented people by offering a more dynamic work environment. We recognize this move as a strategy to improve our overall levels of member service and satisfaction."
