The deal was announced by Insignia/ESG. David Block and Michael Siegel of Insignia/ESG represented the building owner Related Properties in the transaction. Craig Ruoff of Wagner Group Associates represented Bresnan Communications, which currently occupies approximately 15,000 sf of space at 777 Westchester Avenue in White Plains.
Block says that Bresnan will occupy part of the third floor of One Manhattanville Road, a four-story building that totals more than 135,000 sf of space. The lease deal with Bresnan Communications was for 10 years.
The Centre at Purchase complex has seen a number of major lease signings in the past few months. In the third quarter of 2002, Hitachi Metals signed a deal for 20,000-sf of space. In the fourth quarter of last year, Integra Med signed a lease for 20,000 sf. Both firms secured space at 2 Manhattanville Road, a four-story building that has more than 145,000 sf of space.
Block says there is currently approximately 50,000 sf of space available at the 559,000-sf Centre at Purchase campus. Approximately 42,000 sf is available on the fourth floor of the 2 Manhattanville Road property.
The lease transaction with Bresnan Communications ended a search the firm began in early 2002, according to knowledgeable local brokers.
