A contact at Sequence Design Inc. tells GlobeSt.com that its Austin "Center of Excellence" may include research and development staff in the future, but for now the focus is on sales and support. It also has similar centers in Santa Clara, Acton, MA and Tokyo. Jerry Philippe, who has 24 years' experience in the industry, heads the office, which serves the central US.
The company worked with Fort Worth-based Crescent Real Estate Equities, the building's owner, to find the space in the city's southwest submarket. Bill Gump represents Crescent in Austin leasing activities.
Barton Oaks Plaza One 98,950 sf on five floors. It's part of a six-building complex with a total of 600,000 sf.
