The deal's total consideration was about $2.8 million, according to Jim Duke of CB Richard Ellis, who was one of a group of CB brokers representing the building owner, Seacliff Village Shopping Center Inc. The group included Blake Woodward of CB's Anaheim office as well as the Duke/Schillne Retail Property Services Team, which is also based in the Anaheim office.
The Seacliff Village center is at the northeast corner of Goldenwest Street and Yorktown Avenue. Duke tells GlobeSt.com that the community center was completed last summer and is the second-largest shopping center in Huntington Beach. It is about 98% occupied by an Albertsons supermarket, Sav-On drug store, Orchard Supply Hardware and Staples office supply store. Bank of America was represented in lease negotiations by Gary McCabe of Jones Lang LaSalle.
