The CB Richard Ellis South Denver Office Team of Sergio Castaneda, John Marold, Mitch Bradley and Lang Williams, reports that the number of space being sought by tenants increased by 12% to 1.27 million sf from 1.13 million.

There are 93 tenants currently seeking space, according to the report. Only three of them are seeking more than 75,000 sf for a total of 340,000 sf.

"The trend during 2002 of primarily small requirements driving demand continues during 2003, with 63 of the 93 requirements for less than 10,000 sf," the report notes.

The team also notes that subleased space has dropped to 1.58 million sf from 1.85 million sf a year earlier, a trend they expect to continue this year.

But the best news, they note, and this is an exact quote: "The Raiders lost to the Buccaneers in Super Bowl XXXVII."
