Gatwick is the busiest single runway airport in the world and the sixth busiest international airport. Over 32 million passengers use it each year and this is set to increase to 40 million within the next five years. One in five people using the airport check in before 7.00am.
Grant Hearn, Managing Director for Hilton UK & Ireland, said: "Demand for airport hotels continues to grow." He added: "Gatwick is a popular gateway to London. The need for high-class airport accommodation is on the increase, and we have therefore committed the capital to ensure the product we offer remains unrivalled in the area."
