The salon, set to open in March, will offer 37 furnished suites to stylists who want to own and operate their own businesses offering hairstyling, manicures and other services, according to Seyed Mohammadi of the Salons at Grapevine.

John Phelps of Phelps Properties of Austin represented Mohammadi in the transaction. Eric DeJernett, a retail specialist with NAI Commercial Industrial Properties Co., acted for the Grapevine Center, which is owned by Grapevine Market/Shoal Creek Wart LP.Grapevine Market is anchored by its namesake store, which sells wine, food and other items. It occupies 17,516 sf.

DeJernett said the coming of a Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse store just north of the center will bring high exposure to the Salons at Grapevine. The Lowe's store is under construction on the site of a former printing company facility.
