The lease was packaged by Kyle Patterson for ProLogis and Chris Kugle in the Houston office of NAI Partners representing Veritrust Inc. The 28-year-old building is located at 2000 Afton Rd.

Kugle tells GlobeSt.com that Veritrust signed a medium-term lease for the industrial space. The firm dedicated about 2,000 sf to a corporate office and set aside the remainder for warehousing documents. Kugle says the new tenants will add a fire-proof, climate-controlled vault for media files. He says rent is running the mid-30-cents per sf range.

In Houston, ProLogis owns 30 industrial properties out of 1,760 distribution facilities worldwide. Hempstead Distribution Center abuts another ProLogis property with 73,214 sf.
