Business owner John Hartnack was in the market to lease or buy, Chris Kugle of the Houston office of NAI Partners Commercial tells GlobeSt.com. The firm puts new engines into vehicles.

The Henry Road building proved to be a perfect location and layout, Kugle says of his client's decision. The selling price is not available, but it was on the market for $299,000.

Kugle says American Engine Installations will be open for business by the end of the month. He says the building required little retooling for the incoming business. The North Houston location, outside fence and yard for storing vehicles and overhead crane in the building were the main selling points for closing the deal.

John Ferruzzo, also in the Houston office of NAI Partners, handled talks for FlowServ US Inc., a Dallas-based operation in the midst of a real estate disposition. The Harris County Appraisal District assesses the 25-year-old building, sitting on about one acre, at $229,100.
