Sager Snaps up Chelsea Residential Site

LONDON-The Sager Group, a London-based international development company has bought a 70,000-sf former power station in Chelsea, South West London for a new residential development.

The property was built in the late-1940s as a power station, and the 0.77-acre site already has local authority backing in principle for residential development. Atis Real Weatheralls advised the vendor.

Weatheralls director Nigel Durman said: "The site attracted interest from all sectors of the development market and the strong price achieved after vigorous bidding shows that interest in development opportunities remains high." Beauchamp Estates advised Sager.
