Hawkins will handle site evaluation, lease negotiation, disposition services, reporting and market analysis for the two accounts and also assist in business development for retail companies based in Florida.
Crow has seven million sf in retail project leasing and $100 million in retail investment sales listings in Florida, says Paul Ellis, a Crow principal and senior vice president. He says Crow has "one of the largest corporate client lists in the country" and calls Hawkins "an exceptional addition to our team.
Before his seven-year stint at McDonald's, Hawkins spent six years with Realvest Appraisal Co. of Maitland, FL where he was a partner in the commercial appraisal group. Hawkins is a former project manager with General Homes Corp. He started his career in 1986 as an appraiser with Orlando-based Pardue, Heid, Church, Smith and Waller.
Hawkins received his BS in real estate from Florida State University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers; a Leadership Orlando alumnus; and received the McDonald's Outstanding Contributor Award at the company's worldwide convention in 2000.
